Can a shipping banker learn how to design a vessel? Or can a naval architect learn to finance a ship? The Blue MBA 2013 Class is in Hamburg for a week, working not least with “the ship design of the future”. Both Birgitte and Giulio have learnt quite a lot.

River Elbe and the busy port of Hamburg form the pleasant backdrop for the Blue MBA Class 2013, gathered in the German shipping hub for a week of seminars. Looking out through the panoramic windows, the class can keep an eye on the activity of vessels and tug boats while following lessons on ship designs and maritime legal framework, the two main focal points of Module 4 of the Blue MBA.
